Our Team

  • Jerry Williams

Jerry Williams founded East Coast Bridge & Concrete after recognizing the need for a bridge manufacturer in the southeast. With help from Robo Construction, One Source Construction & Engineering, and Williams Construction & Cabinetry, Inc, he brought the company to life.

Jerry’s foresight helped him address challenges early, including the need for concrete testing. Since the nearest facility was too far, he, his son, and his wife became certified as Level II Concrete Testing Technicians, allowing them to handle testing in-house, saving time and money.

Thanks to Jerry’s leadership, the company is thriving with a promising future ahead.

  • Revonda Williams

Revonda Williams has been working in the construction industry for 30 years along with her husband. Revonda brings accounting, budgeting, scheduling, HR and many other office skills together to help with East Coast Bridge & Concrete. Together with her husband,  they have built a successful construction company and saw the possibility for a bridge company in the area. Revonda has tested and become a Level II Concrete Testing Technician, saving the company time and money. She also aids on concrete pour days by assisting the crew with whatever task they may need assistance with.  In addition, she is the Safety Officer, making sure everyone is wearing the proper safety equipment and operating the machinery in a safe manner.

  • Jake Williams

Jake Williams grew up immersed in the construction industry, learning the trade early from his parents, Jerry and Revonda. He is a vital asset to both the construction company and East Coast Bridge & Concrete.

As a certified Level II Concrete and Strength Testing Technician, Jake ensures the accuracy of blocks and beams, maintains forms, and oversees production operations. He also plays a key role in keeping the equipment running smoothly, contributing to the company’s efficiency and success. His expertise and dedication make him an invaluable part of the team.

  • Jim Pontes

Jim hails from California with over three decades of concrete experience. He is our Concrete Pour Supervisor and does an excellent job. His years of experience provide him with the ability to assess the concrete once it arrives and oversees the placement into the forms. He also assists in day-to-day operations at the plant. He can operate the equipment on the yard and aid in moving the blocks and bridge beams and forms when necessary.

  • Deysi Portugal

Deysi joined the crew a few weeks into our first pours. She is one of those employees who does anything and everything! She assists in the pours by guiding the concrete vibrator, she helps clean the forms, she assists in moving the blocks and bridge beams onto the staging yard and is there when the forms are to be reassembled for the next round of concrete. Deysi looks forward to the next step and is ready when it comes. She will clean up around the yard when she has nothing else to do! We need more Deysi’s!

  • Rafael Basurto

Rafael has worked with East Coast Bridge & Concrete since August 2024. He is the Concrete Finishing Foreman. He has worked in concrete in the past and his finishing abilities reflect those years of experience. It is important that the blocks and bridge beams have a smooth surface to ensure a level stacking surface free of gaps and ridges. He is very attentive to the process, and it shows with every block. He also assists in erecting and dismantling the forms, cleaning them and staging the blocks and bridge beams in the staging yard. He is a vital part off the block pouring process.

  • Jonny Cortes

Jonny started with East Coast Bridge at its inception. He comes from a diverse background which includes concrete work. He was there to help erect the block forms and now is Supervisor over Form Assembly. He has the vital role of ensuring the forms are erected in the correct way, the correct number of blocks and bridge beams needed has been addressed and the forms are ready for each concrete pour.  He then oversees the dismantling of the forms, cleaning and restaging for the next pour. He can operate the heavy machinery necessary to move the blocks and bridge beams and forms around on the site which makes him a more valuable employee.  Currently we are pouring twice a week to meet the orders we currently have and with Jonny at the helm, the process is flawless.
